This week is all about books on creativity, and how they’ve influenced me. Many of them helped me break down barriers to creativity in my life, which I’m very thankful for. Read MoreThis past year has been full of challenges and wins. My day job experienced lots of layoffs with increased stress for everyone who remained, followed by a 5 week strike. In my art-creativity world I self-published two more books, and have drafted several more quick-read devotionals. I’ve also developed my surface pattern design work and am learning how to add my art to products.
I feel a new sense of purpose, even if I’m not 100% sure yet what that purpose is. It’s like the caterpillar purposefully weaving the chrysalis to become a butterfly; there is purpose in the work while knowing they’ll never be quite the same again.
