This past year has been full of challenges and wins. My day job experienced lots of layoffs with increased stress for everyone who remained, followed by a 5 week strike. In my art-creativity world I self-published two more books, and have drafted several more quick-read devotionals. I’ve also developed my surface pattern design work and am learning how to add my art to products.

I feel a new sense of purpose, even if I’m not 100% sure yet what that purpose is. It’s like the caterpillar purposefully weaving the chrysalis to become a butterfly; there is purpose in the work while knowing they’ll never be quite the same again.
